Specialist Musculoskeletal Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Musculoskeletal Oncologist to join our team at St Vincent's Health Australia.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a medical professional to contribute to the management of patients with bone and soft tissue tumors, both benign and malignant. The successful candidate will be involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of these patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
The Orthopaedic Sarcoma Surgeon will provide comprehensive care for patients affected by bone and soft tissue tumors, including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. They will also be involved in the management of bone metastases as well as tumor prostheses that may require revision.
Your Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients with bone and soft tissue tumors, including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.
- Manage bone metastases and tumor prostheses that require revision.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in musculoskeletal oncology, participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- FRACS Part II or equivalent surgical qualification.
- Full medical registration with AHPRA.
- Completion of annual CME through RACS, AOA, or equivalent.
- Completed Sarcoma Fellowship or equivalent specialist training.
- Current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain.
