We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team at Early Start Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with individuals with developmental delays and/or disabilities.

About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based assessments and therapy to a paediatric and adolescent caseload. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based assessments and therapy to a paediatric and adolescent caseload – providing direct, family based and community based support to individuals with developmental delays and/or disabilities.
  • Day to day in the role will include assessment and intervention sessions with a mixed caseload in terms of both age and modality of intervention.
  • Services can be provided in our clinic space, client homes, schools and via telehealth.
What You Need To Succeed
  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and membership of SPA.
  • A passion for working with individuals who have disabilities to help each client to achieve their own goals, potential and participate in their community in a way that is meaningful for them.
  • Exceptional communication skills that enable you to work in a culturally rich and diverse environment and collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Passion for making a difference with a focus on making therapy fun, engaging and meaningful for clients and families.
