Job Description
In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining a range of material handling equipment, including forklifts. You will work closely with our team of experienced professionals to deliver high-quality results and exceed customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Fabricating steel components for material handling applications;
  • Modifying forklifts and other material handling equipment;
  • Assembling ancillary items for material handling applications;
  • Repairing forklifts and other material handling equipment using metal-work techniques.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Relevant trade qualification;
  • Strong welding competencies using MIG, TIG, Arc, and Oxy-Acetylene;
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar fabrication or engineering role;
  • Demonstrated machine-shop experience using lathes, milling machines, press-brake, etc.;
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings;
  • Competent in the use of hand and power tools;
  • Forklift licence preferred but not essential;
  • Full understanding of WHS, with a commitment to working safely and maintaining a clean workstation;
  • Sound communication skills;
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
