Delivering engaging lessons to students in Years 7–12, fostering their holistic growth, is a key responsibility of this teaching role. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach English according to the Australian Curriculum and the SACE.
The ideal candidate will be able to plan, deliver, and assess English lessons for students in Years 7–12, ensuring alignment with the Australian Curriculum and the SACE. They will foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth.
In addition to teaching expertise, the successful candidate will incorporate a Christian worldview into their practice, connecting faith with learning in meaningful ways. This includes participating actively in Homegroup/Community sessions, building strong connections with students and supporting their wellbeing.
Essential Skills and Qualifications- Relevant tertiary qualifications in English or Education.
- Current Teacher Registration (South Australia).
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Current RRHAN-EC certificate (Responding to the Risk of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect – Education and Care Training).
