About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Medicine Specialist to join our team as a Head of Department. As a key member of our medical leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the General Medicine department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and lead a team of medical professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide educational and training opportunities for medical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in General and Acute Medicine.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing medical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills.
