Mine Project Director

This senior management position will see you enhance your capabilities and the reputation of a leading mine tailings team.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver multiple projects for key clients through effective stakeholder and contractor management.
- Manage work programs to deliver high-quality engineering services in mine waste management.
- Support concurrent projects across the entire lifecycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling, and risk management.
- Lead the design of tailings storage facilities and other earthen structures from conceptual through to delivery stages.
- Plan and direct field investigations and other tasks to meet project requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mining Engineering or relevant project management qualifications are desirable.
- Proven experience in project management, including managing multiple coinciding programs with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A background working on tailings, water, and civil projects, ideally with some experience within a consulting environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presentations, and client interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients within time constraints.
