About the Role
This position involves leading client engagements, stakeholder management, pre-sales, and delivery of solutions and consulting projects. A strong background in application security is required, particularly with contemporary development methods, SDLCs, cloud-based platforms, and deployment methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading large-scale security review projects for enterprise customers
- Providing industry experience and recommendations across various technologies and solutions
- Reviewing, designing, and implementing secure solutions on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google)
- Designing, building, and deploying data, application, and infrastructure security solutions in cloud environments
- Integrating software security into developer build tools (e.g., GitlabCI, Github Actions)
- Defining DevSecOps practices and supporting developer engagement and education regarding security best practices
- Vulnerability assessments, SAST, DAST, SCA, and passive scanning
- Specifying and negotiating security requirements on projects, reviewing current policies and procedures
- Collaborating with security partners (Google, Microsoft, AWS, etc.)
- Conducting security architecture and design reviews, performing secure coding reviews, and executing security testing activities
- Conducting SDLC reviews
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders
- Willingness to upskill, including learning new technologies and obtaining certifications
- Experience mentoring and leading junior consultants
- Experience leading teams and projects
- A positive attitude with a developer-friendly problem-solving orientation
- Experience working in regulated environments
