Enterprise Sales Specialist

Role Summary:
As a Sales Solutions Consultant at OpenText, you will be responsible for driving proactive campaigns to build the sales pipeline, leveraging your specialist expertise to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities. You will partner with the most highly regarded companies in the world, tackling complex issues, and contributing to projects that shape the future of digital transformation.
The Opportunity:
This role requires a Sales Specialist & Consultant who can collaborate with and support Account Managers, providing specialist expertise within the sales team. You will be responsible for developing long-term sales pipelines, expanding and enhancing existing opportunities, and selling complex products or solutions to customers on a partnership basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share in specialized areas.
- Utilize specialist expertise to prospect, qualify, and close opportunities, and build relationships with customers and partners.
- Sell complex products or solutions to customers on a partnership basis, and act as a dedicated resource to a few strategic accounts.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, including C-level executives, and contribute to enduring executive relationships.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor knowledge to ensure credibility with customers.
Requirements:
- University or Bachelor's degree; Advanced University or MBA preferred.
- Directly related previous work experience, with a focus on sales and customer relationships.
- Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher sales targets and customer interface levels.
- Typically 3+ years of related sales experience, with a focus on complex sales and partnership development.
- Project management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
