At CHC Group Australia (Crew), we are dedicated to providing safe and reliable helicopter services to our customers. As an Aircrew Officer, you will play a critical role in our Search and Rescue operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Search and Rescue operations in various onshore and offshore environments.
  • Manage the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft's rear cabin during flying operations.
  • Collaborate with the aircraft captain to ensure the successful completion of missions.

Requirements:

  • Current CASA – Class II medical certification.
  • Current Provide Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen (HLTAID015) certification.
  • Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) certification.
  • Flight Radiotelephone Operators License (current).
  • CASA approved hoist endorsement under CASR PART 133/13.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Cert IV in Aviation (CASA compliance).
  • SAR/EMS experience.
  • Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (H.U.E.T) & Emergency Breathing Systems (EBS).
  • SLS Bronze Medallion & Certificate II Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue).
  • NVIS qualified & Night Operation Experience.
  • FLIR imagery systems Experience.
