Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced System Reliability Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.

The primary focus of this role will be on defining Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for reliability, monitoring system performance, reducing toil, capacity planning, and scaling.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will automate reliability improvements and ensure production systems are reliable, performant, and scalable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong background in software engineering, DevOps, operations, or cloud engineering
  • Good knowledge of the technology landscape
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or computer science (highly desirable)
  • Strong Azure cloud background with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) skills
