As a Centre Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of educators and shaping the lives of children in a supportive organisation with a strong focus on early childhood education. Your Role
  • Develop and implement strategies to align our centre's vision and goals with national frameworks and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, maintaining our centre's reputation as a trusted provider.
  • Recruit, mentor and manage a diverse team of early childhood professionals, fostering a collaborative culture that promotes teamwork and shared knowledge.
  • Create and maintain a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that supports holistic child development, addressing individual needs and promoting social and emotional well-being.
  • BUILD STRONG PARTNERSHIPS WITH FAMILIES AND ENGAGE WITH THE LOCAL COMMUNITY THROUGH EVENTS, WORKSHOPS AND OUTREACH PROGRAMMES.
  • Manage the centre's resources effectively, ensuring long-term financial sustainability and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, implementing new ideas and best practices across our centre.
About You
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role or as a Centre Director in early childhood education, demonstrating your ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • An ACECQA recognised Diploma or Bachelor's degree in early Childhood Education, showcasing your expertise and commitment to quality teaching practices.
  • A deep understanding of national frameworks, including the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and Education and Care National law.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, able to inspire and support your team, foster collaboration and drive results.
  • Skills in problem-solving, decision-making and time management, ensuring effective management of multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices.
  • A CURRENT WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK, FIRST AID, CPR, ASTHMA AND ANAPHYLAXIS CERTIFICATE, Demonstrating your commitment to safety and protecting vulnerable populations.
