Healthcare Support Role

This role is an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare in a local community. As a Hospital Assistant Grade 2, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general cleaning of hospital wards, public areas, bathrooms, and offices, as well as assisting with waste removal, restocking supplies, and other support tasks as required.

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.
  • Assist with waste removal and restock supplies as needed.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team to achieve shared goals.

This is a physically active role that requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

The position operates on a rotating roster, which includes shifts on weekends and public holidays.

About You
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team-focused attitude and willingness to take direction from supervisors.
  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning, general assistance, or a similar role.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
