Business Finance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Finance Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing a portfolio of commercial credit facilities and leading a small team.

The Business Finance Specialist will be responsible for approving, reviewing, and maintaining credit standards on inventory finance facilities provided in the Asia-Pacific region. They will work closely with global manufacturers to ensure their dealer distribution networks have access to revolving lines of credit to finance inventory holdings.

The role requires preparing credit submissions for new dealer exposures, annual reviews, and ensuring finance is properly documented and security interests are correctly registered on public databases. The Business Finance Specialist will also communicate effectively with Credit Management to present credit recommendations.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or related disciplines.
  • Prior experience in commercial lending, ideally focused on working capital finance/inventory or floorplan finance/equipment finance.
  • An understanding of complex corporate and trust structures.
