ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Ivory Group, based in the Greater Western Sydney region, is seeking a certified Building Surveyor to join their team for an immediate start. This position is an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension or transition to permanent employment.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Senior Building Fire Safety Officer, your role will involve frequent communication with both internal and external parties to ensure the smooth execution of fire safety protection issues. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Council's Fire Safety Statement program
  • Investigating and resolving complaints/inquiries on fire safety protection issues
  • Representing Council in legal proceedings
  • Enforcing safety and building standards


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

The ideal candidate should possess qualifications in building surveying or a related discipline. Additionally, you should have accreditation as a Building Surveyor - Unrestricted OR Building Surveyor – Restricted (all classes of buildings), a Class C Drivers License, and working knowledge of the EPA and BCA.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 to $180,000 AUD, depending on experience and location.
