Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Health Professional to join our Case Analysis Team as a Team Leader. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership and management of the team, identifying areas of practice improvement to support the Canberra Community.

About the Role

The Team Leader will be responsible for conducting analysis of individual cases, considering all information held by CYF, and providing independent advice, quality assurance, and guidance to caseworkers and team leaders. The team will identify themes within individual cases to strengthen training, policy, and procedures, and practice guidance to staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management of the Case Analysis Team
  • Conduct analysis of individual cases and provide independent advice
  • Identify areas of practice improvement and develop strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Services and Practice Assurance Branch to improve CYF practice and decision-making
  • Develop and implement training, policy, and procedures to support staff

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Welfare, or related discipline
  • At least five years of practical experience working with children, young people, and/or their families in a social work/case management role
  • Current registration under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011
  • Driver's License (C class) and ability to work in accordance with the ACT Public Service Values and Signature Behaviours
