Job Overview

As a mechanical engineer, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of allocated projects for our Wollongong Treatment Plant. This includes the upgrade of mechanical, electrical, civil, and process-related assets.

The successful candidate will work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Accountabilities
  • Supporting Construction Leads to achieve project outcomes;
  • Setting project programs to meet project requirements;
  • Monitoring costs, invoices, and claims;
  • Contributing to constructability;
  • Undertaking tender evaluation and award of subcontract packages;
  • Monitoring equipment and material quantities against drawings and specifications;
  • Analysing document and record management;
  • Managing Subcontractors and workforce performance;
  • Liaising with external parties and statutory authorities;
  • Contribute to safety, quality, environment, and community culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction, Construction Management or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5-10 years' engineering experience;
  • NSW Drivers Licence;
  • White Card.
