About the Role

ASC is seeking a Workforce Capability Lead to join our team in Osborne SA. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing key P&C processes, frameworks, and tools to support program readiness planning and organisational design planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement key P&C processes, frameworks, and tools to support program readiness planning and organisational design planning.
  • Leverage P&C resources across the business to support program readiness planning, including aligning activities with the organisation/program strategy to assist in meeting relevant contractual deliverables.
  • Develop frameworks for decision making and governance arrangements to empower teams to make informed decisions, ensure compliance, accountability, and clear structure for decision making.
  • Support the facilitation and management of program P&C needs, utilising data to identify and prioritise risks and leveraging P&C resources to execute programmatic outcomes.
  • Contribute to the programs organisational design planning, ensuring it is aligned to the operating model and leveraging P&C expertise to develop efficient and effective structures.
  • Effectively manage, track, and report budget.
  • Provide leadership to your team, ensuring team members are provided with direction and attainable yet challenging performance targets.
  • Provide specialised advice ensuring programmatic needs are considered and where possible met.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, HR, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience, including at least 2 years' experience in a large complex organisation.
  • Significant P&C experience in a rapid growth or start-up phase.
  • Demonstrated leadership/people management experience with the ability to inspire, influence, and motivate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and prior experience in Defence Industry is highly desirable.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
