Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at National Workforce. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective management of inventory, logistics, and shipping schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the warehouse team, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, and logistics.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.
  • Meet regularly with the warehouse team to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
  • Participate in leadership/management team meetings to discuss operational strategies and goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of warehousing experience, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Current Forklift license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
