About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Kmart. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement
- Monitor and control store inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
- Collaborate with other department managers to achieve store-wide sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales associates to improve their skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a similar environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a high level of service to customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
