Job Role:

You will be working as a Mobile Maintenance Technician responsible for delivering all maintenance activities across the fleet under contract at our facility and other sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and Repairing Vehicles: Perform routine checks, fault diagnosis, and equipment repairs on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Supporting Modifications: Assist in vehicle upgrades, retrofitting, and improvement programs to enhance reliability and maintainability.
  • Technical Support: Provide on-call support, attend vehicle recovery sessions, and assist with technical issues.
  • Data & Reporting: Record faults and repairs, contribute to data collection, and analyze trends in vehicle performance and reliability.
  • Process Improvement: Help review and optimize maintenance regimes to reduce costs and risks while ensuring safety.
  • Training & Compliance: Support training delivery, follow policies, and foster a positive work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in LRV electrical and mechanical system.
  • Knowledge of rolling stock equipment and maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of safety management systems and risk assessment.
  • Strong technical ability for fault finding and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships, engage, and influence at all levels.
  • Roster Flexibility.
