Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to lead construction teams delivering major energy transition projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising the safe installation, replacement and maintenance of power poles and associated equipment.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in pole and line construction projects, with strong leadership and communication skills. You will also be required to work collaboratively with engineers, project managers and client representatives to coordinate works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the safe installation, replacement, and maintenance of power poles and associated equipment.
  • Manage crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project standards.
  • Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and enforce safety compliance at all times.
  • Liaise with engineers, project managers, and client representatives to coordinate works.
  • Monitor progress against schedules and provide daily reporting to site management.
  • Mentor and support team members to maintain high performance and strong safety culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • OHS Construction Card (White Card).
  • Current Driver's Licence (HR preferred).
  • High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogging/Rigging advantageous).
  • Certificate III in ESI – Distribution or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven supervisory experience in pole and line construction projects.
  • Previous FIFO experience (preferred).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
  • Two contactable work-related references.
