About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Fixed Plant teams in our WA Iron Ore business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe application of preventative and investigative maintenance on our fixed plant and site infrastructure. Your role will involve working on an even time roster, consisting of 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to our safety culture by demonstrating a commitment to high standards of execution within your trade.
- Maintain a high-level working knowledge of safety processes and procedures.
- Inspect, service, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair all plant and infrastructure equipment.
- Have a sound understanding of maintenance management standards and best practices.
- Work effectively with other maintenance and production team members, including contractors.
- Proficiency with computer-based planning systems, ideally SAP and Fiori.
- Ensure accurate documentation and data entry.
- Monitor asset integrity and compliance to statutory maintenance and inspection requirements.
- Strong commitment to the field management program and coaching of field activities.
About You
To be suitable for this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Australian recognized Electrical Licence.
- Current Australian manual drivers licence.
- Well-developed understanding of the operation and maintenance of Fixed Plant equipment.
- Experience working in Iron ore Processing Plant is highly desirable.
- Ability to work well within a team to achieve outcomes.
- Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to continuous improvements.
