Senior Service Desk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Service Desk Manager to lead our Operations team and drive service delivery across multiple cloud regions. This role is based in our Canberra office and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our growth and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Service Management, ITIL, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. They will be responsible for leading the Service Desk team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and ensuring service delivery meets SLO/SLA objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Service Desk team and driving service delivery excellence
  • Fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring service delivery meets SLO/SLA objectives and monitoring performance
  • Acting as the SME for ITIL Service Management and overseeing Incident and Problem Management
  • Managing a 24/7 On-Call roster and working with SMEs to coordinate required data centre activities

Requirements:

  • Australian Government Security Clearance; therefore, applicants must be Australian Citizens and have the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance
  • Deep understanding of Service Management, ITIL, and experience in one or more of the following areas: Service Management and Data Center Management
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to challenges
  • Availability and flexibility to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
