Senior Laboratory Professional Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Professional to join our team in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at Central Adelaide Local Health Network. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful contribution to the health and well-being of South Australians.
Key Responsibilities- Apply technical knowledge, expertise, and competence to perform routine diagnostic techniques, including participation in problem definition, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Contribute to the development, selection, and adoption of new techniques and methodologies with supervision.
- Assist in training and supervising technical laboratory staff in routine tests and tasks.
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in an approved and recognised qualification.
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC).
- Working With Children Check (DHS).
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.
