About the Role
As the Electrical Planner, you will leverage an established Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure a smooth start and collaborate with a skilled maintenance and engineering team.
Your excellent communication abilities and capacity to perform under pressure will align well with our fast-paced environment. Moreover, your willingness to tackle any task, eagerness to acquire new skills, and ability to lead by example will be invaluable to our team.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Electrical and Automation Manager, your primary duties will include:
- Creating and managing comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for all electrical systems and equipment.
- Organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling weekly preventative maintenance tasks, monthly shutdowns, and project work across the facility using your outstanding organizational skills.
- Overseeing, assigning, and coordinating tasks for electrical contractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Communicating effectively with production staff daily to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Assisting in the management of electrical equipment spare parts and repairs.
- Exemplifying a commitment to Health & Safety practices.
What You Will Bring to the Team
- Electrical trade qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience in the pulp & paper sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with a 24/7 multi-process/heavy industrial manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a readiness to embrace challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- A practical, hands-on approach to tasks.
