We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our close-knit ICU team on a part-time basis at Gold Coast Private Hospital. As a valued member of our team, you will be supported to develop your skills in ICU with guidance from senior clinical staff.
This role requires a willingness to complete post-graduate qualifications in Intensive Care Nursing. You will be responsible for demonstrating high-level professional nursing practice, supporting the nursing team, and maintaining your own professional learning and continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements, and Healthscope's policies and processes.
- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Maintain professional learning and continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices.
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive high-quality care across the healthcare continuum.
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with VMO partners.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an acute hospital setting.
- A desire and willingness to complete post-graduate studies in ICU Nursing.
- Understanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
