Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydraulic Systems Technician to join our team at Robert Bosch Group. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to external service and breakdown requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Installation and commissioning of large hydraulic projects, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough fault-finding diagnosis and product analysis, providing detailed reports and recommendations for maintenance or modernization.
  • Hydraulic system fault finding and testing, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ordering and gathering components, installation, testing, and identifying further repairs or spare parts opportunities.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare service quotations and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Upload all relevant External Service documentation, including vendor quotations, delivery dockets, service quotations, and service reports.
  • Ensure quality control through documentation of tests and installations, including supplying customer documentation.
  • Conduct on-site inspections, repairs, installations, and testing of Hydraulic components and associated equipment.
  • Regular customer contact and client management, offering best solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
  • Hydraulic fitter trade or equivalent.
  • 5 years of field service or hydraulic system experience.
  • Competent level of hydraulic knowledge.
  • High focus on Quality and attention to detail.
  • Dynamic performer and achiever.
  • Planning and organisational skills.
