About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Reporting Advisor to join our team at JB Hi-Fi. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of our sustainability reporting requirements, including CDP, NGERS, APCO, and Annual Sustainability Reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of our sustainability reporting strategy, ensuring alignment with global and Australian reporting standards.
  • Manage third-party environmental and sustainability advisors and auditors, ensuring high-quality assurance and advisory services.
  • Conduct research and provide expert advice on emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Optimize and improve our sustainability reporting systems and processes, ensuring data accuracy and transparency.
  • Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and drive sustainability performance across key focus areas, including packaging, waste, recycling, emissions, and supply chain.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to develop and implement scope 1, 2, and 3 emission reduction targets.
  • Develop and implement a Group approach to improving consumer awareness around energy efficiency.
  • Assist with developing an approach to decarbonizing our supply chain.
  • Review private label packaging to ensure alignment with our ethical sourcing policy.
  • Ensure compliant ARL (Australian Recycling Labelling) across all private label branded products.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure alignment with the National Sustainable Packaging Guidelines.
  • Develop sustainability training for internal and external stakeholders across key focus areas.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Reporting Advisor with a strong background in sustainability, data analytics, and report writing. You will have a relevant tertiary qualification and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. You will be a strong communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
