About the Role

Zurich Insurance Company is seeking a skilled Fraud Data Specialist to join our Claims team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in enhancing fraud analytics capabilities and rules to maximize our ability to detect potentially fraudulent claims activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new rules to uncover hidden patterns and behaviors in claims data.
  • Expand fraud rules to analyze linkages between common entities, utilizing network analysis techniques.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement a performance management framework, ensuring effective counter-fraud processes.
  • Maintain and enhance reporting tools to support the investigation team's compliance with GICOP.
  • Upskill capabilities in fraud analytics, integrating new datasets and leveraging AI tools.
  • Provide the Investigations team with required monitoring and data extracts.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in insurance fraud analysis, including rule development and enhancement.
  • Advanced data science and analysis capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to identify potentially fraudulent behavior.
  • Proficiency in SQL, MongoDB, Power Query, Power BI, and DAX.
  • Knowledge of Python and R programming languages.
  • Understanding of the GICOP compliance framework.
  • An investigative mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
