Accessories Designer

We are seeking a talented Accessories Designer to join our team. As an Accessories Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing accessories that align with the brand's vision.

The primary focus of this role is on accessories, covering end-to-end responsibilities including design, development, sourcing, costing, range editing, range presentation, and bulk production sample approval.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create seasonal and monthly colour palettes in collaboration with the Creative Director
  • Sourcing and/or developing new leathers, fabrics, components, trims, and treatments for each season
  • Preparing finishes, leather, fabrics, colour, components, trims embellishment, and silhouette for initial sign-off by the Creative Director
  • Selecting suppliers per style in conjunction with technical and production team members
  • Preparing and handing over complete sketches and briefing sheets (including BOM details) to the Patternmaker and Product Developer in line with the critical path
  • Producing or directing artwork as required
  • Collaborating with Product Developers to ensure timely product development and a full handover to the production team
  • Attending fit sessions for relevant products - toile, proto, and SMS
  • Ensuring products are fit for purpose

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in accessories design
  • Strong understanding of fashion trends and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
