Job Title: In-House Lawyer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled In-House Lawyer to provide legal support and advice on cross-border matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary legal support and advice to the business team on cross-border legal and regulatory matters.
- Draft, negotiate, and review client contracts, conduct legal analysis on new product initiatives, and advise on legal and regulatory developments.
- Lead legal support on cross-product coverage for payments, lending, technology, liquidity management, FX, and other related products.
- Work closely with compliance team to ensure regulatory and compliance risks are properly managed.
- Manage external legal counsel as needed and escalate issues when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in law from a common law jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5 years PQE (post-qualification experience).
- Experience in banking, payments, or similar field is viewed favorably.
- Regulatory/compliance knowledge and skills in relation to payments and/or financial sector.
