Job Summary: We are seeking qualified and experienced Personal Care Assistants to assist in developing our new, state-of-the-art 180-bed aged care residence. As a Personal Carer, you will provide high-quality direct care to residents, including administering medications and completing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day personal care activities to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications as delegated and complete documentation using our business systems
  • Communicate with residents, family, and friends, and other staff members in a professional and private manner
  • Work varying shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night duty, with a focus on providing excellent care and support to residents

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care
  • Experience in Aged Care or a similar field
  • Availability to work various shifts across various days
  • Good computer literacy and ability to accurately update resident progress notes
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • A valid Police Check for unsupervised care of vulnerable people
  • Current COVID Vaccination
