About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Haz Mat Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Haz Mat team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our Haz Mat function.

About You

You will be a passionate professional with a strong background in asbestos and hazardous materials. You will have a proven track record of success in surveying, air monitoring, inspection, and project management related to asbestos and hazardous materials.

You will be responsible for conducting pre and post remediation risk assessments and post remediation verification assessments. You will also prepare and review technical reports, and prepare, review, and maintain asbestos/hazardous materials management plans, registers, and/or removal documentation.

You will have a strong understanding of the requirements of NATA accredited asbestos analysis (fibre counting, bulk ID and soils) and laboratory procedures. You will also have the ability to grow and develop a client base and build market share.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
