Community Maintenance Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Community Maintenance Assistant to help maintain our community in top condition.

This is a part-time role, 30 hours per week, involving maintaining gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces (mowing, weeding, hedging, etc.).

Duties and Responsibilities

Carry out general repairs and routine maintenance across the community.

Keep communal areas clean and tidy, including pressure washing and waste removal.

Safely store and maintain tools, equipment, and chemicals.

Assist with trade coordination and community event setups when required.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in maintenance, gardening, landscaping or handyman roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve independently.
  • Great customer service and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required on a rotating roster.
