Assembly Line Worker

Delnorth is expanding and seeking reliable individuals to join their dynamic team in various areas including plastic injection moulding, plastic blow moulding, roll forming and general assembly. The role offers a mix of casual and full-time positions with shifts during the day and afternoon based in Thornton, NSW.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate machines
- Assist or perform mould changes, start-ups and shutdowns
- Adjust settings for product quality and cycle efficiency
- Conduct in-process quality checks (visual, fitment, measurements)
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues
- Record production data and perform light preventative maintenance
- Comply with all safety and environmental standards
- Previous experience in manufacturing steel and/or plastics required
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Broad understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
- Comfortable with physical tasks and standing for long periods
- Basic computer skills (for machine interfaces, data entry)
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols
