Healthcare Data Integrity Specialist

About the Role
The Healthcare Data Integrity Specialist is a vital position within the Education, Training and Compliance team at Alfred Health. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data submitted to the Department of Health.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel is also essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and correct data to ensure accurate submission of Alfred Health VINAH data to the Department of Health.
- Work closely with the Outpatient Support team to identify and address any discrepancies in data collection.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and department staff.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., health information management, data analytics).
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices.
Salary and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $105,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will be eligible for salary packaging and novated leasing through Maxxia, flexible health insurance coverage through HCF Health Insurance, and other excellent benefits.
