Aon is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Insurance Representative to join our team in Canberra. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their insurance career in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

About the Role

As a Customer Insurance Representative, you will be responsible for dealing with the insurance policies for new clients and renewals of existing clients. You will build strong relationships with each client through listening to their needs and wants, and providing them with suitable education on additional HIAIS products and services to create sales opportunities.

You will also be responsible for daily phone interactions with existing clients regarding their ongoing insurance/risk needs, managing multiple ongoing communications via phone and email, and collaborating with the Client Manager regarding your workload/development.

The ideal candidate will have a comparable sales and client servicing experience, understanding of financial documents such as Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements or Loan Documentation, and Tier 1 Accreditation or willingness to obtain immediately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily phone interaction with existing clients regarding their ongoing insurance/risk needs.
  • Building strong rapport with each client through listening to their needs and wants.
  • Providing on the spot support to client queries, as well as managing multiple ongoing communications via phone and email.
  • Collaborating with the Client Manager regarding your workload/development.
Requirements
  • Comparable sales and client servicing experience.
  • Understanding of financial documents such as Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements or Loan Documentation.
  • Tier 1 Accreditation or willingness to obtain immediately.
