About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee quality assurance and quality control functions across our organization. This critical position ensures all products consistently meet rigorous internal standards and comply with external regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing robust quality systems, securing and sustaining key certifications, and ensuring full compliance with good manufacturing practice (GMP) and good laboratory practice (GLP).

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading internal and external audits and managing quality incidents with a proactive approach.
  • Driving continuous improvement through strategic KPIs and quality initiatives.
  • Supporting product stewardship by ensuring safe handling, accurate documentation, and traceability of all products.
  • Building strong relationships to embed a culture of quality and safety across the business.
  • Lead and mentor high-performing teams, identifying skill gaps and delivering targeted training.
  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and professional growth of staff, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and values.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in quality assurance within the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or personal care industries.
  • Strong technical understanding of chemical regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience maintaining and improving certified quality systems.
  • Minimum 3 years' leadership experience, ideally across multi-site operations.
  • Demonstrated capability in conducting internal audits and managing external supplier/vendor audits.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
