
Automotive Training Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Trainer to deliver high-quality training to students and prepare for and deliver training and assessment services in accordance with policies and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to adjust or develop flexible teaching and learning strategies to assist students with barriers to learning, such as low literacy levels or disabilities.
Understanding workplace systems and procedures, production cycles, and key contact people is essential to ensure training is customised or contextualised to the workplace.
As an experienced trainer, you will provide guidance to supervisors regarding support of students to gain competencies.
Maintaining all assessment and training paperwork to RTO requirements and delivering it to administration to meet core milestones is also a critical aspect of this role.
Managing student, employer, or other client enquiries or complaints in a timely and effective manner, ensuring a high level of customer service is paramount.
Staying current with knowledge in relevant Training Packages and vocational industry is necessary to maintain currency and deliver high-quality training.
This is an opportunity to work and contribute to part of a team and autonomously as required.
Developing strong relationships with students, staff, schools, and other stakeholders is crucial to success in this role.
Required Experience, Skills, and QualificationsCurrent industry experience, including at least 3 years in mechanical repairs, is essential for this position.
TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is a must-have qualification.
Additionally, qualification to teach Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis is required.
