Job Description

Cooma, NSW is seeking an experienced Project Officer to join their Corporate Projects portfolio. This role will provide administrative support and assist in the delivery of projects from initiation to closing.

About The Role
  • Deliver high-quality project support to ensure effective delivery and compliance with legislative requirements
  • Develop and maintain interfaces with other portfolios to ensure efficient and safe project delivery
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication to meet project deliverables
  • Monitor own work performance and progress toward work plan goals
  • Use resources efficiently and responsibly to complete tasks that contribute to or deliver services
  • Support cross-functional collaboration through information sharing to drive evidence-based decision making
  • Contribute to a solutions-focused, accountable and collaborative culture

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate IV qualification in Project Management or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of projects
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation
  • Ability to exercise initiative, discretion and judgement in working both independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • General Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Class C Drivers Licence
