Job Title: Specialist Anaesthetist

The role of the Specialist Anaesthetist is to provide comprehensive anaesthesia services, including perioperative care, pain management, and critical care, across various medical disciplines.

This position requires strong clinical expertise in anaesthesia, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the latest anaesthetic techniques, technologies, and research findings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality anaesthesia services to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting treatment plans
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in anaesthetic practice

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in medicine or equivalent qualification
  • Completion of specialist training in anaesthesia
  • AHPRA registration as a physician and specialist
  • Current FANZCA college membership
