In this role, you will oversee the audit engagement by defining the audit strategy in consultation with the Partner, and executing it in compliance with our policies and protocols. You will also lead and manage fieldwork on clients' sites, including liaising with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of the Audit process.
Key responsibilities include managing the audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters. You will also be responsible for expertise in accounting frameworks (IFRS) and related financial reporting matters.
Proficiency in Mandarin is required for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients. SOX or PCAOB experience is desirable, as well as proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements.
A strong academic record, including a degree and progress towards/completion of a recognized accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) or equivalent, is essential. At least 5 years' experience as an auditor is also required.
