About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Rehabilitation Consultant - Registered Psychologist to join our team at The Recovre Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing specialized psychological services to our clients, enhancing their individual and organizational wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply your knowledge and expertise in psychological health to enhance individual and organizational wellbeing
  • Develop and deliver creative and innovative psychological wellbeing solutions for our customers
  • Work collaboratively with employees, employers, treating health professionals, and other stakeholders to achieve outcomes
  • Identify the hurdles to recovery and return to work following illness or injury
  • Collaborate to problem solve, plan, and achieve safe and sustainable recovery, return to work, and independence
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team and share your expertise with others
Day-to-Day Activities
  • Conduct specialized services, including Psychological Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, and Initial Assessments for psychological injuries, and implement targeted and holistic interventions
  • Develop and deliver bespoke training packages on topics relevant to mental health and wellbeing in the workplace to a range of clients across various industries
  • Provide consulting services to support our clients with enhancing employee wellbeing, managing psychosocial risks, and preventing psychological injuries
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including complex psychological injuries, across a number of schemes (workers compensation, life insurance, CTP, and medico-legal)
  • Provide personalized and evidence-based support for individuals' injury recovery and work reintegration, prioritizing their overall health and wellness
  • Expertly identify and address psychosocial barriers to clients' successful return to work
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive and effective support network
  • Provide Counselling services through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) when required

Requirements
  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist
  • Minimum 2 years' post-registration experience in a clinical or corporate role
  • Experience with psychological assessment
  • Knowledge and competence with concepts surrounding psychological health and safety in the workplace
  • Experience in developing and delivering training in the mental health and wellbeing space will be highly regarded
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and develop relationships
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills - be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
  • A desire to problem solve with the confidence to be innovative, use your initiative, and achieve results
