We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at UnitingSA residential aged care facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Salary

The successful candidate can expect a salary range of AU$85,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to their base salary, they will also be entitled to up to AU$15,900 in tax-free income through our Salary Packaging scheme.

Job Description

The Aged Care Physiotherapist will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, working closely with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality physiotherapy services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and developing personalised treatment plans.
  • Welcome new residents, ensuring a smooth transition into our care.
  • Collaborating with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team to create effective treatment strategies.
  • Educating residents and their families on preventive care tailored to their understanding and needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have:

  • A relevant physiotherapy degree and AHPRA registration.
  • Experience working in aged care, preferably with skills in conducting assessments, managing diverse needs, and working efficiently in a high-pressure setting.
  • Proven ability in time management, effective communication, and working well in a multidisciplinary team.
