Assistant Coordinator Position

This role presents a unique opportunity for individuals to grow and develop their careers within our organization.

The Assistant Coordinator will be based at our Helensvale service, which provides a range of programs promoting community, belonging, agency, and play-based learning for children.

About the Role:

  • Support the development of high-quality programs and manage daily program delivery.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop quality programs meeting the needs of children and families.
  2. Manage daily program operations, including staff supervision and administrative tasks.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills to families and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completed or near-completed qualifications in childcare or teaching (minimum Diploma in Children Services).
  • Experience in programming and passion for delivering high-quality childcare.
  • Excellent administration and documentation skills in an OSHC setting.
  • First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People or willingness to obtain.
