We are seeking a highly skilled Urban Development Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. This is a newly created role available due to strong organic growth.
The successful candidate will work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers and Senior Designers on the design and delivery of urban development projects. In particular, they will work on land developments (residential and commercial), infrastructure and municipal projects including roads, drainage, sewer, water, earthworks erosion and sediment control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review sketches, drawings and engineering data received from external consultants, clients and internal stakeholders
- Create detailed engineering designs and construction drawings compliant with industry standards and codes
- Analyse and prepare reports, drawings, planning and design documents for urban development projects
- Liaise with stakeholders on a regular basis to manage project variations
Requirements:
- High level technical knowledge of industry codes and standards
- Proven project design delivery experience
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- High level industry awareness and engagement
- Relevant tertiary qualifications. Use of 12d, ACAD, 12d drainage, PC Drain
- Experience in preparation of concept and detailed designs for land development projects
