About The Company/Role

Evolvescientific is a prominent player in the dairy processing sector, catering to major food service and retail chains. As the company continues to expand, they are in search of a seasoned Quality Assurance Lead who can evolve with the organization. This position will serve as the second-in-command to the Quality Manager, providing support and direction to the QA team. The role encompasses both practical QA responsibilities and compliance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct investigations into non-conformances and customer feedback, followed by thorough root cause analysis.
  2. Create reports for monitoring and analyzing trends.
  3. Oversee product specifications, PIFs, artwork approvals, and country of origin documentation.
  4. Maintain and update all QA-related documentation.
  5. Assist in both internal and external audit processes.
  6. Perform HACCP reviews, risk assessments, and validation and verification programs.
  7. Lead the QA team and serve as the second-in-command to the Quality Manager.

Required Skills and Experience

  1. Degree in Food Science or a related field.
  2. Experience in a supervisory or coordinator role.
  3. Background in food manufacturing.
  4. Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and FSANZ standards.
  5. Strong communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
  6. Proven leadership capabilities.
  7. Ability to effectively manage pressure and daily challenges.
