Remote Education Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced education assistant to support the remote learning of two children through distance education in a unique outback environment.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement lesson plans for curriculum subjects and deliver online lessons to students in kindergarten and primary school ages.
  • Promote engagement and understanding among students through active communication and interaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of educational programs.

Requirements

  • Significant experience supporting the education of young children, preferably in a remote or isolated setting.
  • Relevant qualifications for working with and supervising children, such as early childhood education or teaching certification.
  • A high level of patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills to maintain effective relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
