The role of Site Quality Supervisor at Voith Hydro involves supporting the implementation of site quality processes and ensuring compliance with quality control measures and contractual requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Implement a continuous improvement system to identify areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate closely with site supervisors and contractors to ensure high-quality work outcomes.
- Ensure accurate and detailed records of quality control processes and inspection results.
- Qualify welders and inspectors and maintain related documentation.
- Participate in site nonconformance and technical change requests and drive completion of QA corrective actions.
- Conduct site audits and inspections and maintain calibration of measurement tools.
- Support the site team with QA processes, short- and medium-term work planning, and engineering/installation procedures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree in QA/QC or equivalent industry experience.
- Able to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget management.
- Prior demonstrated experience in quality for large hydro power projects or similar industries.
- Proficient knowledge of QA/QC systems aligned with ISO:9001.
- Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach.
