About the Role:

Parks Victoria is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Dja Dja Wurrung Ranger. As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for supporting the Dja Dja Wurrung Recognition and Settlement Agreement and implementation of the Joint Management Plan for the Dja Dja Wurrung Parks.

You will work closely with the team to develop and implement park management strategies, conduct cultural heritage assessments, and participate in Joint Management projects with DJAARA and other Parks Victoria rangers.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as environmental science, conservation biology or indigenous studies.
  • Experience in park management and cultural heritage assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
